Tree update!
Dec. 16th, 2019 08:30 pmLOL So I kind of left the Christmas tree saga hanging there. Oops! I got it, though. I did, indeed, manage to get myself quite a magnificent artificial tree!! I'll post a pic as soon as it's decorated. But it's really quite grand!! LOL A bit huger than I'd originally intended to get. But it really works! It's going to be magnificent once I've got all the lights and ornaments on!! Wow!!
And it'll be magnificent once I get it painted black, too. However, that part of the project's going to have to wait till some time in the new year. LOL Because, having asked around about how to do that, I discovered that I'd way under-estimated the logistics involved!! And of course, this last week before Christmas is insanely busy! Uh, so that one's going to have to wait till we have a bit more time! And possibly a bit more money, too, as we may need to get some additional supplies, including some more paint, to do the thing right. But Mom, whose my go-to visual expert LOL, says it's going to look quite grand once it's done! :-)
In the mean time, though, I've gone ahead and set it up, and am going to go ahead and decorate it as is. And it's still pretty damned awesome!! As I said, I'll post pictures as soon as I can. So merry Christmas/blessed Yule!!
